Summer is in the air!
"Bonding time with Mommy and Leon" - Julia Barretto
"I'm not with my family here in Manila so I spent my holy week with Star Magic handler Ms. Ana Esguerra. She invited me in her humble abode in Marikina. She cooked delicious food and it felt like my home in the province. We spent swimming in a nearby condo and spent most of the time bonding inside her house. Simple yet very relaxing." - Alora Sasam
"Surfing in Baler, Aurora for holy week with friends! This photo was taken infront of Sabang beach Baler where I first experienced actually standing on a surfboard! Like a pro! :)" - Diego Loyzaga
"Spent some quality time with family and relatives, built a sandcastle and so much more!" -Paulo Angeles
"Spent the Holy Week with my family and relatives in Lipa, Batangas. I enjoyed spending time with them and sharing new experiences with them." - Nikki Bagaporo
"A night to remember with my amigas!" - Marinella Sevidal

F.R.I.E.N.D.
They say that no man is an
island. Some say that to be able to carry a heavy load; you need another pair
of arms to carry that load with you. Who do we cling to when we need to know
the ugly truth? Who do you laugh with at your silliest and craziest moments?
Every one of us has that person we call ‘friend’.
Here’s a simple list on what to
consider in a friend:
F – orever
A
true friend will never leave you, unlike boyfriends and girlfriends. A true
friend will accept you for who you are without asking for anything in return.
Distance is never an issue to a friend – whether you are miles away from each
other, you don’t have to worry because friendship is forever.
R – eality
A true friend never lies to you. He
or she will tell you the things you don’t want to know, but you have to know. A
true friend will let you see what is real and what’s not. The only credible and
real judgment comes from a true friend.
I – nfluence
Be careful who you make friends with
because friends become a huge influence in your life. They affect your
character, the decisions you make in your life, the person you become. He or
she mustn’t only be present during the happy times but also on your lowest
point. A true friend helps in bringing out the best in you, not the other way
around.
E – nemy
Some people started out as enemies
before they became best friends. Yes – you’re enemy and your friend can be the
same person. You can quarrel with a friend and laugh about something a few
minutes after. Never forget your enemies, because they might be your future
friends.
N – ecessary
Life is not complete without
friends. You need someone to talk to, take pictures with, cry with. A friend
can perform an unending list of roles in your life. You just have to tell them
which one you need in a particular moment in your life.
D- irection
When you’re feeling lost, always
turn to a friend for directions. Who else will accompany you through your darkest
hours but your friends.
Open
yourself to people. Life is too short to live alone. Every road you take is
worth the travelling with a friend along.

Five Ways of Dealing with Online Scandal
Social Media
has been dominating the world for years and everyone just can’t get enough of
it. Nowadays, people can instantly post their latest selfies and it only takes
seconds for friends and haters to comment. But what if you become the center of
attention in Social Media? What if you find out you have your own online
scandal? Let me list down few effective ways in dealing with online scandal.
So you see
yourself in the most embarrassing situation and comments from people you know
and you don’t know have been coming up, and you don’t know exactly what to do. Easy
on the emotional panic; just take a deep breath, and smile, because this too,
shall pass. It’s not the end of the
world for you. Yes - you’ll be the subject of criticism; yes - almost
everything will be said about you – but who cares? People will not judge you
with what you’re going through but on how you’ll get through it.
Laugh It Off
Never shed a
tear. Do not be the loser; be the bigger person. Sometimes, in the darkest
moment of your life, you’ll realize that to get over it, all you need is to
laugh it off and snap out of it.
Watch Your Words
In a battle
where your reputation and your name is at stake, sometimes you can’t help but
fight back with the meanest words you can ever say or write. But always
remember whatever you say or comment in the internet will stay there forever.
So watch your words, choose the right ones. Because whatever you say or
whatever you write might be just the best weapon people will use against you.
Let It Go
Don’t dwell
on shame, don’t live on embarrassment. There is more to life than trying to
prove yourself to people who doesn’t mean anything to your life. Bullies will
always be bullies, and you can’t do anything about it. You have your family and
friends – good sources of motivation and life lessons. Talk to them, ask for
help. And when everything else has been said and done, all you got to do is
keep your calm, chin up, move forward, and let it go.
Be Careful
When every stone has been thrown at you, and
when your online scandal has given you the worst time of your life, make sure
that the next time you’ll be famous is when you did something good. You’ve
experienced the nastiest things and you don’t want them to happen again.
Everything depends on you – on how you project yourself to people and how you
let people treat you. So make sure you know who to trust and you know to avoid.
Be careful with everything that you do with your life because keep in mind,
there are a million eyes watching over you and it only takes a camera phone and
Wi-Fi connection to either make or break you.
